Pay Range: $23 - $28/Hour
About Us:
The MinnWest Technology Campus maintains a beautiful, one hundred acre campus that is focused on attracting and retaining business partners to an innovative, collaborative, and unique working environment. With over twelve commercial cottages at over 18,000 square feet each, the MinnWest Technology Campus has a wide variety of space that can be remodeled to suit each company’s unique staff, technology and workflow needs.
What we’re looking for:
Perform general maintenance and repairs across campus facilities (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems)
Maintain interior and exterior spaces, including restrooms, flooring, painting, and grounds
Operate and maintain equipment, tools, and vehicles (e.g., mowers, tractors, power tools)
Support landscaping, snow removal, and overall campus appearance
Respond to and complete work orders, preventative maintenance, and urgent repair needs
Assist with facility operations such as room setups, building access, and material handling
Maintain maintenance logs and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend maintenance support
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities
What you’ll do:
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a hands-on role in keeping our campus operating at its best. From tackling repairs to performing both routine and specialized maintenance, you’ll help care for our facilities and ensure everything runs smoothly.
Other key areas include:
2+ years of maintenance and repair experience; High school diploma or GED required
Valid driver’s license required
Basic carpentry, construction, and general maintenance knowledge
Experience with HVAC, boilers, generators, and/or plumbing systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to use work order systems and basic computer programs
Solid time management and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Skilled in diagnosing and resolving routine maintenance issues
Ability to collaborate with and coordinate outside contractors
Certifications preferred in HVAC, boilers, plumbing, or related fields
